Chinglish... Meaning Lost in Translation

Ask anyone who's traveled to Asia and they'll know what Chinglish is. Although it generally has a negative connotation, it refers to the mistaken translations into English that are occasionally made by the Chinese - resulting in signs reading something like "sport out of house" instead of "outdoor sports". In fact, during preparations for the 2008 Summer Olympics, Chinese officials spent hundreds of dollars "de-chinglifying" Beijing.
